Golden Retriever Waits To Be Picked up by Grandparents for Sleepover-She Packed Her Own Tiny Backpack
Growing up, my favorite thing in the world was going to my Gram's house, where I knew I'd be a spoiled little princess. Maybe it was the Law & Order reruns on repeat or the waffles she'd serve me in bed (spoiled!), but those were some of the best times of my life. Though she's been gone for 11 years now, it warms my heart seeing others experience a similar bond with their grandparents-pets included!
Wynn, the Golden Retriever, is equally excited about having a sleepover at her grandparents' house as I used to be, except there's one thing that puts Wynn in a whole other category of cuteness: her tiny backpack!

Between that miniature Nike backpack that's just her size and the way she patiently waits for Grandma, @wynn_thegolden sure is precious. What a good girl this Golden Retriever is letting Grandma come to her instead of sprinting toward the car like a maniac! Even the matriarch is impressed by Wynn's manners and adorable posture!
Throughout the week, Wynn is popular with just about everyone. The silly, goofy girl with the big heart has won over many, including some cool teens who love dropping by to see if she can come out to play. But when it comes to the backpack that all Wynn's fans are swooning over, there's a reason she's happy to wear it.
Maybe Wynn adores her little backpack so much because of all the days she's spent waiting with school-aged kids at the bus stop!
Hanging with so many cool kids who've come to know and love her is such a Golden Retriever thing to do! Having her own backpack makes her feel like she's part of their crew.

A Packing Checklist for a Dog Sleepover
If your pup is lucky enough to have sleepovers at their grandparents' house, there are a few essentials to pack in a travel bag or an equally adorable backpack. Here's a quick and easy checklist to keep in mind:
- Pre-measured food in individual bags, plus extra for emergencies
- Treats and chews
- Food and water bowls; bottled water in case your pup has a sensitive stomach
- Medications with dosages, instructions, and the vet's contact info in case of an emergency; vaccination records
- Harness, leash, and collar for walks and car rides
- ID tags and microchip info in the event they get loose
- Comfort items like toys, their bed/blankets, and items that have your scent on them
With a little prep-and hopefully a backpack like Wynn's-your dog will be just as cute waiting for their pickup from Grandma, too!
