Donkey ‘Dances' to Live Music in Adorable Viral Video
Watching a donkey dancing to his favorite song at his birthday party on a farm animal sanctuary just might be a unique experience-until now.
A rescue donkey named Cash was spotted dancing to live music from singer/songwriter Rebecca Brunner at his birthday party at Our Simple Homestead on May 17. The Tennessee homestead is home to a group of rescue donkeys called Cash's Crew, and they celebrated their namesake with a party that would leave any animal feeling jealous. Guest @cowgirlbraelynn caught the priceless moment on camera when Cash joined Rebecca's lovely singing, and no one could get enough.

This funny donkey video perfectly captures the joy and magic of rescuing animals. If it weren't for Cash's forever family, who raised him from a bottle-fed baby after he was rejected by his mom, he never would've been jamming to Fleetwood Mac at a party meant just for him.
"He's trying to request 'Pink Pony Club,'" commented @beckycampbell246. Maybe so, but he seems pretty stoked with the song that Rebecca's currently playing. I'm surprised he wasn't singing along, too!

Naturally, most commenters compared Cash to Hollywood's most famous donkey: Donkey from Shrek! The memorable sidekick loves music and friends just as much as Cash does, but instead of leading a herd of rescue donkeys, though, he hangs out with an ogre (and his dragon wife!) all day long.
@macumbawv saw the opportunity to tell an incredible joke, and she took it. She wrote, "In what key? Don-key," which seems like exactly the kind of joke Cash would love to hear. He may be a rescued farm animal, but he's also an entertainment connoisseur!
Rescue Donkeys & Cash's Crew
This sweet video is just a glimpse at the kind of fun and relaxing moments that await rescued farm animals just like Cash. Donkeys can be some of the most social and outgoing animals, so opportunities to bond with humans and express their feelings are especially meaningful. Even if they're scared, shy, or still getting used to living with safety and freedom, watching another donkey living their best life can be the perfect little push.

It's unclear whether any of Cash's donkey friends attended his birthday party, but since it took place at their home, they couldn't have been far away. Besides, ticket sales and silent auction proceeds from the event will go right back to the rescue to help give the special donkeys the best possible life.
