Tom Brady Walks the Runway for Gucci's Cruise 2027 Collection in NYC

Tom Brady's NFL career was filled with iconic moments, legendary performances and incredible games, but life after pro football has been equally exciting for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Brady has established himself as one of the premier NFL analysts on television, and had the opportunity to call the Super Bowl in his rookie year as a broadcaster. Brady has also become an NFL owner, purchasing a 5% stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

The former quarterback has been a much more visible star than he was during his playing career, and seems to be approaching his off-field pursuits with the same level of dedication and drive that made him one of the all-time greats.

Brady's latest debut followed in that same spirit, even if it came as a shock to some of his long-time fans.

Tom Brady's Modeling Debut in New York City

Tom Brady made his runway debut in full leather this weekend, taking part in the Gucci Cruise 2027 collection fashion show in Times Square on Saturday night.

The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback walked the runway, fitting in with the rest of the models showing off the top fashion house's new collection.

Two of his former teammates, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, showed support on social media by sending out three GOAT emojis from their "Dudes on Dudes" podcast to honor their former quarterback's walk down the runway.

Other fans compared him to Ben Stiller in "Zoolander," and some were reminded of Arnold Schwarzenegger's leather look in "The Terminator." Many fans were surprised to see Brady at the event, but remarks from his ex-wife seem to indicate that the NFL legend has a keen eye for fashion.

Brady's Experience With Fashion

"He loves clothes way more than I do," Brady's former wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen said in a 2021 interview with WSJ Magazine.

"He has great taste and understands and really cares about what people want, what can help them feel good. That's what fashion is about."

Brady is no stranger to the apparel world, as he merged his health and wellness brand TB12 with the Boston-based NOBULL apparel company in 2024. The ex-QB's goal with the merger was to create "one complete wellness company that at its core, will help people become the best version of themselves."

"The goal for us is massive growth that will change the game in training and nutrition for the world. There's no limit on how many people we can impact and that's what I'm most excited about."

NOBULL now features Brady prominently as a brand ambassador and representative, and the brand has been featured as the exclusive outfitter of the NFL's annual scouting combine on multiple occasions.

Workout gear and training apparel are perfect fits Brady's past career, but it seems that elevated fashion and haute couture could be more suited for his pursuits after leaving the game of football.

We'll see what the future holds for Brady - both on and off the runway.
