Betting Odds Show Aubry Bracco as Strong Favorite to Win 'Survivor 50' Finale
From the moment that Jeff Probst announced that Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans would have an all-star cast, it became the most highly anticipated season in years. Now that it is nearing its end, with the finale set to air in a matter of days, fans are debating who will win the landmark season. If the betting odds are correct, one player is the overwhelming favorite to become the latest Sole Survivor. After reading about who is favored to win Survivor 50, vote in our poll and let us know who you think will prevail.
Betting Odds Make Aubry Bracco the Heavy Favorite to Win 'Survivor 50'
The team at VegasInsider has calculated the implied probability that each of Survivor 50's remaining players will win the season based on Kalshi's betting odds. According to Kalshi's current "who will win Survivor 50" prediction market, Aubry Bracco is the most likely to prevail by a huge margin. As VegasInsider noted, Bracco has a 94% implied probability to win, while the runners-up, Joe Hunter and Jonathan Young, only have 3% and 2%, respectively. The outlet noted that the betting odds for Bracco were -1562, which means people would have to wager $1562 on her to win just $100 if she prevails.
There are two reasons why Bracco's status as the favorite to win is so remarkable. The first is how consistently bettors have been putting their money on her. Before the first episode of Survivor 50 aired, the betting market was already predicting Bracco would win with an 80% implied probability before the premiere. Considering 24 players were in the running, that level of confidence in one of them is fascinating.
The other reason that the confidence in Bracco winning is especially noteworthy is because of the return of the live reunion for Survivor 50. As a result, even the Survivor 50 jury and cast won't know who won the season until Jeff Probst announces it during the live reunion. With that level of mystery intact, it is interesting that people betting on the outcome seem to think it is a foregone conclusion.
Betting Odds Give Two Players Almost No Chance of Winning 'Survivor 50'
As part of VegasInsider's coverage of the Survivor 50 betting market, the outlet noted that two players are basically being counted out. Based on the outlet's analysis of Kalshi's betting market, Tiffany Nicole Ervin and Rizo Velovic both have a less than 1% implied probability of winning Survivor 50. However, since Jeff Probst's reality show has seen unexpected winners in the past, it may be risky to assume that anyone won't prevail.
