It's no secret anymore that one of the great things about the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is finding the hidden bars. People use Reddit, TikTok, and other social media sites to find out where they’re at and the passwords to get in.
By weekend two of Coachella, many festival goers were in on the secret and packed the speakeasies, getting drinks and taking a break from the desert sun.

"I found it on TikTok that there were a couple of speakeasies at Coachella, and we wanted to check them out. I'm loving the lighting and the AC and the whole vibe here," said Cheyenne Quintanna-Ali, who was hanging out at Golden Hour, one of a handful of hidden bars at the festival.
"We always want to change things up, we always want to make things shine more than they did the year before,” said Adrian Garcia, director of food and beverage for Goldenvoice, which organizes Coachella.
Besides Golden Hour - a New York underground themed bar with low lighting, candles, and bench seats - there’s a tiki lounge and a 1990s rave-influenced spot dubbed the Neon Cactus with a DJ spinning tunes and people busting retro dance moves.
"As a kid, I loved the rave scene, so I kind of made it into that warehouse party that you would find," Gonzales said.
For the younger crowd, there’s also Pretty Girl Parlor, inspired by headliner Sabrina Carpenter inside the Indio Central Market, complete with a pink carpet-lined entryway, checkered floors, beauty salon-style seats, and a photo booth.
