If you’ve been planning to pick up an Elsa tiara or anything else at the Disney Store at Fashion Fair mall, do it quick.
The Fresno store closes Monday remodeling and is scheduled to reopen in mid- to late-May.
When it’s finished, the store will have a castle and images of Fresno landmarks on the wall. A pixie dust trail will lead customers through different “neighborhoods” featuring princesses, Star Wars, Marvel. And the store will add a theater with a screen and benches, which doubles as a space for a free daily activity.
Each morning when the store opens a child will be chosen to unlock the store with an oversize lock and key as part of an “unlock the imagination” ceremony. The child will get to keep a copy of the key.
