Body found in a canal in Tulare County. Sheriff’s office investigating
Detective with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a body that was found in a canal in Sultana on Monday afternoon.
Deputies say it appears to be a male in his 60s with no obvious signs of foul play. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
According to a post of the office’s Facebook page, the body was found near Avenue 416 and Road 100.
The office is asking people to avoid the area if possible while the investigation continues.
