Even without a film to promote, Kevin Hart was popular enough to earn a spot as the first guest on “The Daily Show” hosted by Trevor Noah. The comedian/actor is a television and film star, with lead roles in films such as “Get Hard” and “Ride Along” (and its upcoming sequel).

Of course, Hart is also a superstar stand-up comic, whose “What Now?” tour is on track to become the highest grossing comedy tour ever. According to Billboard Boxscore, the tour sold more than 600,000 tickets and grossed $35 million as of March.

Hart brings the tour to Fresno at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Save Mart Center. Tickets are $52.50-$92.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the arena box office, select Save Mart Supermarkets, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

The show is a step up for Hart, who fans last saw in Fresno at the Saroyan Theatre in 2012. That show sold out at 2,357 tickets. It was Saroyan’s largest crowd of the year.
