This Wild New Shooter Wants to Break Your Build and Your Sanity
If modern shooters feel a little too polished or predictable, Everything is Gun! might be aiming directly at you.
Announced by Sofia-based studio Incineration Productions, the newly revealed roguelike FPS blends the breakneck movement of classic 1990s shooters with the unpredictable build experimentation of The Binding of Isaac. That was wild just to type out.
The game is scheduled to launch on Steam in the latter part of 2027. It takes place on the prison planet A1-KTRZ, where you are an unwilling contestant in a violent galactic reality show (didn't I just write about this?) Instead of scripted encounters, levels shift and reorganize after every death, making it so players have to rely on everything but memory.
Everything is Gun! was born out of frustration with what the team sees as overly 'safe' shooters. Co-founder Yuriy Popov says that the goal is to recapture the speed and skill of retro FPS classics while having more modern, roguelike elements mixed in.
Instead of small boosts, upgrades will radically transform your weapons and abilities. One run might involve you having one specific build when the next has you rocking a completely different one.
There is also a multiplayer twist in which successful runs can be turned into 'Ghost Bosses.' These are AI-driven threats that allow the movement patterns of other players to invade your game.
For players craving speed, difficulty, and unpredictability, Everything is Gun! looks determind to bring FPS games back to their roots.
