WWE 2K26 Patch 1.09 Hotfix Is Live, Fixing Two Finisher Moves

Visual Concepts has dropped a targeted hotfix for WWE 2K26 today. Patch 1.09 is a small but focused update addressing two specific gameplay concerns that have been flagged by the community since last week's 1.08 patch added the Triangle Crossbody moves and new corner springboard options. The Jackhammer Pin Combo and Corner Springboard Spear both had reported issues - both are now addressed alongside the standard stability and performance pass that comes with every update.

The Jackhammer bug was flagged as early as April 16 by community member Benjamin Somerton in the WWE 2K26 Facebook group, who reported the move failing to register on Goldberg even when unreversed, costing him a match in Universe Mode after the glitch triggered twice in the same game.

It's a short list, but hotfixes aren't meant to be comprehensive - they're targeted interventions between major patches to keep the game stable while the larger work continues. Visual Concepts confirmed that Patch 1.10 is already in development, which is where the next round of substantial fixes and additions will land. Given that 1.08 arrived with four new moves and expanded The Island content, 1.10 will likely be similarly substantial.

This is the ninth update to WWE 2K26 since launch, continuing a consistent post-launch support cadence that has covered everything from Ringside Pass RXP rebalancing in 1.04 to the major Tier 1 DLC unlock overhaul in 1.07. Full patch notes for 1.09 are available on the official WWE 2K support page.
