Derek and David Carr, two of the San Joaquin Valley’s most well-known athletes, will visit Fresno for a fundraising event that will give fans an inside look into professional football.
The event, “Inside the Huddle,” takes place Feb. 17 at Saroyan Theatre in Fresno. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.
Fans will hear the Carr brothers analyze the top five plays of the Oakland Raiders’ 2017 season. Derek Carr is the Raiders starting quarterback. David Carr is a former National Football League quarterback and No. 1 draft pick. He is now an analyst for NFL Network.
The brothers, who both starred at Fresno State, will answer audience questions. The evening concludes with a raffle drawing. Every guest who attends will be given a raffle ticket. Derek Carr will select four winners who will each receive signed No. 4 jerseys, which is his number with the Raiders.
Tickets are $40 each. VIP tickets are also available for $295. Each VIP guest will get a gift bag with a white panel Raiders football, an 8” x 10” photo of Derek and an “Inside the Huddle” commemorative T-shirt. They’ll also have an opportunity to chat with the Carrs. VIP guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar (beer & wine) and photo opportunities with the Carrs.
VIP guests will have preferred, reserved seating near the front of the stage. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the VIP event, which runs from 5-6:30 p.m.
