Junior first baseman Aaron Arruda (12th round, 351) was chosen by Oakland, junior outfielder Jared Akins (13, 376) by Minnesota and junior left-hander Fred Schlichtholz (13, 378) by San Diego.
Also, junior right-hander Rickey Ramirez (15, 436) was drafted by Minnesota, senior infielder Ryan Dobson (30, 892) by Arizona, senior outfielder Austin Guibor (30, 913) by Washington and senior third baseman Jesse Medrano (31, 928) by Pittsburgh.
On Tuesday, junior left-hander Ricky Tyler Thomas went in the seventh round, No. 225 overall, to the Chicago Cubs.
