Central Valley Christian and Strathmore will host CIF Southern California Regional high school football playoff games Friday.

The rest of the Central Section’s champions will wait a week to learn their destination in the Northern California Regional.

The state announced Southern California playoff pairings Sunday, including:

Morse-San Diego at Central Valley Christian in Division 4-AA.

Adelanto at Strathmore in Division 6-AA.

Both games start at 7:30 p.m.

Also in the South, Central Section champion Kennedy will play at Garfield-Los Angeles on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Southern California Regional champions will have a week off while the NorCal regionals are held Dec. 7-8. Those games were delayed a week because section playoffs were upended by complications from the Camp Fire and the smoke that fouled air over much of the region.

Section champions qualify for the regionals including Central, Tulare Union and San Joaquin Memorial, which are headed to the North and will learn their pairing Sunday, Dec. 2.
