Immanuel High junior Colin Slater made the third team on Cal-Hi Sports Elite Boys Basketball Team.
The 30-member team (10 each for first, second and third teams), announced this week, is Cal-Hi’s highest honor as it considers all players in the state, regardless of grade or division.
Cal-Hi also names All-State teams by divisions and underclass.
Slater, teammate Darrin Person Jr., Roosevelt’s Bryson Williams, Clovis West’s Megan Anderson, Hanford’s Janelle Sumilong and Garces’ Celeste West were among those honored.
Slater, The Bee’s co-Player of the Year along with Person, also was named All-State D-IV and, previously, an All-State Underclass Junior. Person was previously named All-State Underclass Sophomore.
Williams made the All-State D-I third team after previously making the Underclass Junior second team.
Anderson and Sumilong made the 20-member Underclass Sophomore first team. Garces’ West was named Underclass Junior first team.
Cal-Hi has yet to announced girls All-State selections for the Elite and Division teams.
