▪ 2014 review: Started all 14 games at right tackle, blocking for RB Marteze Waller who went on to rush for 1,368 yards. … Bulldogs averaged 406.1 yards in total offense and 182.4 rushing yards per game and scored 22 touchdowns on ground.
▪ What they’re saying: “He has to increase his play on the field and increase his presence in the locker room and meeting room as the leader. I’ve really seen him (achieve that) in the locker room, holding guys accountable and understanding he’s not taking a back seat to any guys on the football team. He’s the guy that has the experience, the ability to be that leader in the unit. I expect a lot out of him. He’s a third-year starting tackle.” — OL coach Cameron Norcross
▪ Northern on 2015 outlook: “At times we ran the ball really well with (Marteze Waller) and there were times we couldn’t run the ball when we had to. We want to improve that for the upcoming season. Our passing game wasn’t where we needed it to be and we want to be better than that as well. This coming season I think a lot people will be surprised how talented these young guys are.”
