President Trump Called Out For 'Weird' Jaxson Dart Compliment
President Donald Trump appears to be a big fan of New York Giants quarterback Jaxon Dart.
Dart received plenty of love during his rookie season - and rightfully so. The Ole Miss product had 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns in 12 starts. There are plenty of fans who believe he'll be even better this fall.
On Friday afternoon, Dart went viral for introducing Trump at a campaign event in Suffern, New York.
"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here," Dart said. "Without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump."
Trump started off his speech by thanking Dart for such a kind introduction.
"I want to thank Jaxson Dart. This is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book," Trump said. "Thank you. [He has] a lot of talent."
While there was nothing wrong with Trump showing Dart some love, he may have gone a bit too far. A few moments later, he made a comment that didn't sit well with the public.
"I'm looking at Jaxson - is there any woman in the audience that thinks they can tackle that guy? I'd like to meet you. I'd like to shake your hand. I don't know. Jaxson, do you think you can play against women okay? Don't get involved, Jaxson. Don't answer that. I'm looking at the legs there. He's this beautiful guy. He's got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women."
Fans are disturbed by the president's comments.
It didn't take long for NFL fans to question Trump's comment about Dart competing against women.
"The stuff about playing against women is sooooo weird," one person said.
"Ummmm why is he ogling men's legs," a fan asked.
"He's completely gross," another person declared.
NFL fans will most likely have a lot more to say about Dart between now and the start of the 2026 season.
