The Mets called up infielder Danny Muno and the former Fresno State star is on his way to New York to join the Mets in time for today's game.
The Mets did not announce a corresponding move.
Muno, who played for the Bulldogs in 2008 when they won the College World Series, had an impressive spring training for the Mets. The 26-year-old, who can play second base, shortstop and third, has hit .235 so far at Triple-A.
He was in Fresno just last week with the Las Vegas 51s for their season-opening series against the Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park.

"It was bittersweet to start here. I wanted to start in the majors; I got sent to Fresno. I had a great time here. Makes me revisit memory lane. That's always fun."
