We are elderly, blessed with good health love and great friends.
On Nov. 19, our beautiful, black, shiny Jaguar, my husband’s pride and joy, was stolen from our garage. Three girls had taken it for a few days – party drinking. The driver hit a pole and wrapped the car around an orange tree and totaled the car.
The car was taken to a wrecking yard, where we discovered a box of clothing and among them was a small bag of pills, possibly drugs, stolen Social Security cards, blank stolen checks, etc. The driver was cited, but I understand that they are not being prosecuted.
Had they been black or brown, they would still be in jail. Is this justice? Beware, your car may be next.
