I’m 12 years old.
I’m writing to say that that many things President Trump has said on social media are shameful and below the dignity of the President of the United States. I have recently read articles about you feuding with other well-known individuals on social media.
On stopbullying.gov cyberbullying is defined as “...bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets… Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else.”
This is what he is doing. He recently tweeted comments about actor Alec Baldwin that were insulting, untrue and just plain mean. This is a form of cyberbullying. We don’t need any more hatred in today’s world.
As the president, he should be working to stop these horrific actions, but instead he is reinforcing them and showing children and teen-agers that cyberbullying is OK.
Personally, I want a president I can look up to, not be disappointed in; a president who is a good example to everyone, but especially young people. After all, we are the future of the United States of America.
