Gov. Jerry Brown this week correctly called upon us, the people of California, to reduce our water use by 25% to address our horrible drought.
Last year, I let my front yard lawn die. This year, I stopped watering my backyard lawn. I continue to flush less often, take short showers and use a minimal amount of water when washing food and my hands.
At the same time, oil companies permanently pollute hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons of water in fracking operations. Gov. Brown, make everyone save our precious water! Ban fracking now!
