It seems like The Bee continues to get narrower and smaller. Some days, the obituary pages get more space than national and international news. And I begin to feel like I'm supporting a charity with my subscription.
But then I watch Bill Moyers Journal and am captivated, educated, and enthused by his interview about Iraq and Afghanistan with Nancy Youssef of McClatchy News. And I remember other stories from McClatchy News. And I try to think of stories from other news agencies and can only think of stories from AP.
And then I know that I'm not contributing to a charity. I'm investing in an essential service that will protect my well being. Please find a few more inches to run stories by your outstanding national and international reporters.
