Ballots in English only

Ballots for elections in the United States should be printed in English only. It is outrageous to print ballots in foreign languages. Besides, it is discrimination to print ballots (or other documents, for that matter) in Spanish, but not in the languages spoken by immigrants from all the other countries.

The language of the United States is English, like it or not. One would expect that all citizens born in this country do speak English, and immigration law requires naturalized citizens to also speak basic English.

Why do immigrants from certain countries believe that the United States should provide for their shortcomings? People who are illiterate or do not speak English, or do not have the mental capacity to make decisions, should not take part in elections.
