Letters to the Editor

'Common decency'

On April 26, you published an editorial cartoon portraying Alec Baldwin doing a cell phone commercial, yelling at his child. I find the media's handling of this whole situation deplorable.

I remind you that there is an innocent child involved. Everything you and other media outlets have published or covered only adds to her pain. You can't change the games that Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin are playing; it is horrible that adults can behave that way.

You can, however, respect the privacy of a family in torment. For the sake of an 11-year-old child, and out of common decency, please stop publishing this trash!
