As an educator, when faced with policy decisions, I always ask myself, "What's best for the students?"
The more instructional minutes I have with my class, the more I am able to teach them. If I worked in the Fresno Unified School District, knowing that our students lagged behind other districts in time spent with students, I would definitely want to give my students the advantage of more teaching time.
