Label the origin

I've recently discovered Wal-Mart doesn't think customers need or want to know where the meat sold by Wal-Mart comes from. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Wal-Mart has a history of hiding information from customers. Wal-Mart buys meats and other products from 70 different countries. "Country Of Origin Labels," or COOLs, would verify if meats sold by Wal-Mart are from America's farms or from out of the country. Wal-Mart's meat buyer has said COOLs "have zero benefit to the consumer." He believes consumers care more about saving a few pennies than supporting American farmers. Well, he is wrong!

I try never to buy anything from Wal-Mart, but the corporate wool they continue to pull over customers' eyes must stop! Don't buy meat from Wal-Mart! Demand they adopt use of "Country of Origin Labels" for their meat products.
