Letters to the Editor

One is enough

I'm driving at 5:30 in the morning, there is no sunlight, when someone decides to jump out into the road toward my car yelling. I don't know if he needs help or if he is just crazy. Looking around I see that there are clones of this person at every street corner doing the same thing; stepping into the street and almost getting hit by a car.

It is Kids Day and I like to support a cause. But once you buy a newspaper, you are still continuously bombarded by people trying to get you to buy more than one. The newspaper is sitting on my dashboard, so there is no need for them to continue to approach my car saying, "It's for the children!" I know. I bought one.
