'Doing their jobs'

This is in response to Maria Elena Salinas' column [March 27] regarding "No child should be left behind." Well, no child would be left behind if the parents hadn't broken the law.

Yes, these children will be placed into the "system," but so are the other children of criminals. Why should these people be treated any differently than other criminals who break our laws? What makes them think that they can come here illegally and remain without repercussions?

I say, hooray to the Immigration and Naturalization Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcement for doing their jobs. Keep up the good work.
