Vilifying Jews

It is incredible that David L. Drown's letter [March 23] alleges that the U.S. is suffering monetary costs when Israel fails to respond to "Arab peace initiatives." Palestinian terrorists, Iran and their cohorts have openly declared they want to destroy Israel, not make peace.

In fact, it is Israel that has made the peace moves such as withdrawing from Gaza. And when it did, it only made it easier for terrorists to fire rockets into Israel.

Further, while Mr. Drown is ambiguous in his reference to "money changers," it is telling that his letter includes a phrase long used by anti-Semites to vilify Jews.
