Patt Morrison's essay March 18 [Vision], "Baghdad, California," was instructively creepy, but missing something.
To really give readers a taste of what this war is for the Iraqis, I think the writer should have added Bloods and Crips armed with AK-47s and RPGs. Then to complete the picture add a hopelessly corrupt state administration and complete control of our airspace by China.
The Chinese have invaded the West Coast on the pretext that Los Angeles is responsible for Asia's smog and deployed an occupying army that goes house to house looking for Rush Limbaugh fans. And while they say they're just trying to bring communism to California, everyone knows they're really here for our grapes.
