Recent reports indicate that global climate change may be the result of a hotter sun, not the burning of fossil fuels. When asked about this, Darryl Hannah, a consistent proponent of living with a small carbon footprint said, "What if this new information is wrong and there is a small chance we are causing climate change. Shouldn't we do something?"
This interesting logic is acceptable for "responsible" actions to stem climate change, but not to stem a more direct, deadly threat of the Islamic fascists. "What if they really do want to kill us? Shouldn't we do something?"
