'Day of infamy'

It was truly a historical day of infamy for the United States Congress. The House of Representatives voted in favor of a non-binding resolution which withdraws support for President Bush's increase of troop strength in Iraq. This is a slap in the face to our troops and the best way possible to undermine their security in Iraq and ultimately our security at home.

I guess the 2,400 people who died on 9/11 are of no consequence to our House members. It would have been hard to imagine our Congress doing this same thing after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.
