Costly 'reform'

Bush's health plan: Just when I thought President Bush was out of ideas on how to stick it to Americans, he comes up with a dilly.

I work for company A, I am covered under the company's health plan. The company cancels my insurance and pockets the $15,000. I have to go out and buy insurance at, say $20,000, since all private plans cost more than group plans. The IRS "gives" me a $15,000 deduction, but I still have to pay it out of my pocket.

Bingo, I get a $20,000 pay cut; the company gives the CEO a big bonus for cutting costs and raising profits.

And they say Democrats hate America?
