Many school kids using 'dinosaur' computers

Recently I had the privilege of visiting Holland Elementary School. I was shocked and appalled at what I saw.

Many of the student computers are old IBM computers with Win 95 and Win 98 operating systems. They only had 64 megabytes of random access memory to run programs. These "dinosaurs" are at least 20 years old and are useless in supporting the current software and Internet connections.

With a budget of more than $600 million, how can the Fresno Unified School District allow this to happen? As a parent, I thank God that my children do not attend this school, because these children have been left behind.
