Not very 'creative'

I was watching the Oscars last year and all I heard was how "creative" everyone was that the winners had worked with. I was reading the article in the Spotlight section of The Bee [Dec. 31] which had the "Preview 2007" movies and games coming from those self-proclaimed original thinkers and "creative artists" in Hollywood.

Let's review: "Spider Man 3," "Shrek the Third," "Pirates of the Caribbean 3," and "Harry Potter" number -- what? Three, four? Then the video games, "Halo 3," "Grand Theft Auto IV," "Metal Gear Solid 4," "Resident Evil 5"!

OK, Hollywood's going with what works, I get it. But come on, original thought? Creative? How about "Art takes a break" and "Rehashed."
