'Respect their wishes'

In response to Jim Lusk (letter Nov. 18) regarding working on his car on his property: I rather think that his neighbors are tired of all the noise next door and that more than likely he is working on other people's cars also, and they are probably tired of all the cars being scattered around his yard while waiting to get worked on.

I doubt that the police of Fresno have nothing better to do than to watch for Mr. Lusk to be changing the oil on his car to come pouncing on him like a common criminal. I believe that he may be running a repair shop out of his home and that is why the police have been called by his own neighbors. He should respect their wishes and quit blaming the police department for his troubles.
