Course stayed

I'm sure the North American wild animals, mountains and ancient trees are feeling something very, very special after this election. While the likes of ex-Rep. Richard Pombo are given the pink slip by the people, the special-interest folks who like to drill, mine and fell timber on our sacred lands are crying in their beer.

There is more at risk here than we foolish humans can know and take so much for granted. The real silent majority spoke up and "stay the course" was stayed. Maybe it's time to think a little bigger and change Homeland Security to Earthland Security.
