Stingy with the troops

My dad always said to put your money where your mouth is. This Congress spoke. They told the soldiers and families of our reservists and Marines, some on two and three combat tours, life and death kinds of tours with many taking pay cuts from their jobs risking their lives, and as a token of gratitude on behalf of the nation for their good fight and to ease their financial burden here is a 2.2% raise.

That is the lowest a Congress voted for in 10 years for our soldiers. All talk, no walk. To those in uniform, I say this Congress does not speak for family nor for the people of this nation. God bless you and happy Veterans Day. We will be with you at the Veterans Day parade this Saturday from sea to shining sea.
