'Gross abuse'

At last California voters will have an opportunity to rectify a gross injustice which has plagued homeowners and businesses for decades.

Eminent domain, the right of government to seize privately owned property for public improvements such as roads, schools and parks, has been abused and misinterpreted by politicians and developers to include Wal-Marts and other private ventures. In their quest, they have destroyed historic neighborhoods and displaced families and established businesses under the guise of "economic development."

Passage of Proposition 90 will put a stop to this gross abuse. Protect your home or business. Vote "yes" on Proposition 90.
