Won't hurt as much

If the Democrats take over control of one or both houses of Congress, I have a suggestion for the president. It is tongue in cheek, but something to think about.

The Democratic leaders have only two things on their agenda: raise taxes and impeach the president -- while the terrorists are slaughtering men, women and children all over the world.

My suggestion is for President Bush to immediately resign, as his presidency will be over. Vice President Dick Cheney would become president. He should then appoint either Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice or that great American, Sen. Joe Lieberman, as vice president.

Then President Cheney should resign. Whoever the vice president is would become president and could appoint one of the other two as vice president. This would hurt us some for awhile, but not nearly as much as higher taxes and impeachment.
