Benefit us all

Other countries have been using ethanol with great success. In my opinion, the reasons why the U.S. is now getting interested in the production of ethanol are: the situation in the Middle East is going to get worse, companies see that it can be profitable and we, the people, are getting fed up with high gas prices at the pump.

Likewise, the only way high-speed rail will begin to interest us is when we get tired of all the stop-and-go traffic on our highways. Get it? It's the people's responsibility to see that our representatives work to benefit all the people and hold them accountable. They are not selected to represent only those who stand to profit the most.
