Here are my thoughts on on gun regulations using National Rifle Association logic:
▪ The guns did not kill anyone. The guns are inanimate objects. It was the person behind the guns.
▪ The drug did not kill the person. A drug is an inanimate object. It was the person behind the drug.
▪ The firecracker did not put the guy’s eye out. A firecracker is an inanimate object. It was the person behind the firecracker.
▪ The nuclear war will not be started by the nuclear bomb. A nuclear bomb is an inanimate object. It will be started by the person behind the bomb.
Therefore we should never regulate any inanimate objects because, after all, it is never the object that does the harm but the person behind it. Anyone should be allowed to possess whatever they please.
