Fresno Unified School District will host immunization clinics in August at the Adult Transition Program and at Sequoia Middle School. The clinics are free for Medi-Cal, uninsured or income eligible.
Clinics at the Adult Transition Program (3132 E. Fairmont Ave.) will take place Aug. 10-11, 13-14, 17, 18-19 and 24-26. Times vary.
Clinics at Sequoia Middle School (4050 E. Hamilton Ave.) will be Aug. 20-21 and 27-28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All students entering kindergarten are required to have been vaccinated against polio, diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus, mumps, measles and rubella, hepatitis B and varicella.

Students entering seventh grade must show proof of current vaccination against pertussis, also know as whooping cough.
Kindergarten through seventh-grade students have immunization requirements before school starts.
A parent/legal guardian must accompany the student and bring current immunization records.
The Tdap vaccine is free for all Fresno Unified students and no appointments are necessary.
