A student at Charter Alternatives Academy School in Visalia was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly slashed three other students with a small-edged weapon, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department said.
The injured students, who suffered superficial cuts to their arms, were treated by paramedics at the school and released to their parents.
The student accused in the attacks about 11:15 a.m. was booked into the county's juvenile hall on suspicion of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, the Sheriff's Department said.
At-risk middle and high school students attend the academy.
