Students picked out free prom dresses Wednesday at Fresno High School as part of a project of the group "Graduates Giving Back."
Kacey Auston, a graduate and parent of a Fresno High junior, collected about 300 prom dresses and offered them free of charge to students who needed a dress for the prom.
The giveaway was a project of "Graduates Giving Back," and Auston hopes to turn the prom dress expo into an annual event.
Although the event was for Fresno High students for their prom next month, students from other schools were able to pick out dresses, too.
