Fresno home tour benefits students

Four homes will be open for display in to benefit Fresno High School students.

The 14th annual Holiday Heritage Home Tour, set for 6 p.m. Monday, will include homes in the Fresno High, Fresno City College and Tower District neighborhoods.

Fresno High and The Historic Fresno High Neighborhood Association hold the tour to raise money for college scholarships, a beautification fund and other needs. Featured are:

The Taylor-Wheeler home on Harvard Ave., built in 1935.

A Prairie-style home on Yale Ave., built by John G. Porter in 1919.

Taylor-Wheeler's custom home on Terrace Ave., built in 1941.

An airplane bungalow, built in 1914 on Peralta Way.
