A sixth-grade boy at Greenberg Elementary School in southeast Fresno was sent to Community Regional Medical Center after drinking alcohol on campus Friday morning.
Police Lt. Joe Gomez said the student will be OK.
Officials said another sixth-grade boy came on campus with a water bottle filled with tequila and a fruit premixed drink he got out of his refrigerator, possibly a margarita mix. The student then gave the other boy, who is 12 years old, the bottle and both drank during class.
Gomez said the boy began to feel sick and paramedics were called around 9:15 a.m. to the school west of Sunnyside High School.

The boy who brought the bottle on campus appears to be fine and admitted to committing the act more than once, police said.
It was not immediately clear how the students will be disciplined by the school.
