The Police Department has released the name of the suspect fatally shot by officers with a drug task force and other details of the incident, which happened Tuesday night in a parking lot near Starbucks and the Turlock Poker Room at a West Main Street shopping center.
The department identified the man killed by police as Omar Villagomez, 21, of Orosi in Tulare County. A news release states officers were trying to arrest Villagomez when the vehicle he was driving collided with unmarked police vehicles.
