A pedestrian who died when she was hit by a vehicle that did not stop has been identified by the Tulare County Coroner’s Office as Elizabeth Bulmer, 27, of Squaw Valley.

About 9:30 p.m. Saturday, she was walking south on the east shoulder of Road 120 south of Road 404 near Orosi when for unknown reasons she walked west across the road against traffic, the California Highway Patrol said.

She was struck by an unknown vehicle that did not stop. The vehicle might be a newer model pickup truck, the CHP said.

Dinuba Fire Department personnel came across the body and found her dead.
