Honey oil lab discovered in Hanford house fire

Firefighters discovered a honey oil lab in Hanford on Monday after returning to the home a day after the residence was engulfed in flames.

Hanford firefighters responded to the fully engulfed home at 1294 Olive Circle on Sunday night and were able to extinguish the flames, but had to return the next morning to conduct a further investigation.

When they came back on Monday morning, they discovered a man fleeing the residence. They discovered multiple cans of butane and remnants of a drug lab. Police found several containers of honey oil, an extract of marijuana. Marijuana and tools to convert the plant were also found.

The investigation is ongoing.
