Fresno County Sheriff’s Office IDs suspects in beer, Gatorade theft in Selma

Fresno County detectives have identified two young men wanted in the theft of beer and Gatorade from the Easy Stop Market in Selma on Feb. 29, and one has already turned himself in, sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said Thursday.

Botti credited news media stories for helping to identify the two suspects.

Officers say two Hispanic men in their late teens to early 20s walked into the store on the 11000 block of South Fowler Avenue, grabbed two 18-packs of Budweiser beer and two bottles of Gatorade before running out the door.

The suspects got into the passenger seats of a silver four-door car, possibly a Dodge, officers said.
